Our Story

Barking Hound Village originated in Atlanta, Georgia more than 20 years ago and had three locations within four years. Jeremy and Lisa Jones met and fell in love while working there and were an integral part of the growth in those first years. The two of them expanded that success by opening both the Austin and original Dallas location on Cedar Springs before taking over ownership and continuing the path on their own. The openings of the Central location near SMU in 2017 and the upcoming new location in Lake Highlands show that giving your dog their best experience ever is the perfect focus for BHV.

We want you and your beloved, four-legged family member(s) to feel like Barking Hound Village is their home away from home. Every dog is a guest with us only once. After that, they become a wonderful member of our ever-growing BHV family.
